Opera Program
The Opera Study offers active participants opportunities to perform in various public settings, selection and participation in a full or semi-scenic opera, and to work closely with internationally-known singers and master teachers. Participants hail from leading conservatories around the world and past alumni include top prize winners at both national and international competitions, as well as emerging singers who already have an active career.
Festival opera participants receive individual lessons with a plethora of master faculty, attending group classes such as Italian and French diction, Russian Repertoire, stage-acting, career advices and possibility to
be chosen for the masterclasses with the President of the Sicily International Voice Competition.
Beyond opera division, singers have possibilities to combine studies of Vocal Chamber/Art-Song Literature and/or Choir under consultation of festival committee and faculty. Due to the complexity of schedules, such combination should always be addressed at the time of application.
Choir Program
The Choir program offers active participants opportunities to perform in a splendid venue (one of the most celebrated churches in Noto) in addition to performance appearances in various public settings. Choral members will work at daily basis with their choral conductor as well as be coached by a guest conductor specialized in Italian choral repertoire. Besides daily study and rehearsals choral members have full observer access to all classes and activities offered in the Voice program, such as language diction, stage-acting, lecture/seminar and masterclasses with the President of the Sicily International Voice Competition.
Choral members have possibilities to combine Opera Study or Vocal Chamber under consultation of festival committee and faculty. Due to the complexity of schedules, such combination should always be addressed at the time of application.
Apply for the festival as active participant,
Observer or for the Competion
