Competition Final Round: July 17, 2026
Eligibility: all voices with no age limit
Application Fee: 80 euros
Application Deadline: May 31, 2026
(no change of repertoire allowed after the deadline)
Preliminary Video Round
(required together with application):
Free program with minimum two songs/arias demonstrating lyrical and technical abilities of the performer (max. 10 min). Selected participants to the final round will be notified via email.
Final Round Repertoire (in person):
Free program selected from any operatic repertoire (jury will select 15 min of the submitted repertoire to be performed). Repertoire can partially or entirely repeat the ones submitted in the preliminary video.
All pieces must be sung in its original language
Participants who wish to compete for the “Semi-scenic Opera Performance Prize” are required to tick the appropriate box in the application form at the time of submission.

Prizes
– Grand Prix: 2000 euros
– Semi-Scenic Opera Performance Prize: Multiple winners will be selected and assigned roles from different operas, woven together into a single, cohesive narrative, based on which a unique semi-scenic (unstaged) opera performance will be presented with iconic scenes from the operatic repertoire. The performance will take place on the evening of July 14, 2026.
– Performance Engagement Prize: a concert tour at 3 series/festivals in Italy (accommodation provided, transportation paid by performer him or herself)
– Opera Début Prize: One singer will be contracted for a role in a complete Opera at the Luglio Musicale Trapanese Festival in 2027
– Management Prize: Possibility to be chosen to join international roster of an Opera Management Company
– Scholarship Prize: Partial or full scholarships to attend the voice program for the 2027 Sicily Music Festival
